About Us

My husband and I were born and raised in southwest Indiana and have been high school sweethearts since '08. Our mutual love for the great outdoors brought us together and continues to be an integral part of our lives. We purchased our little slice of heaven in 2017, 20 acres of wooded hills and a huge yard to raise a couple feral kids, and bringing just a few horses, two goats, the chickens and the dogs along with us.  As avid hunters who process our own game, raising our own food and knowing how it lives and dies became increasingly important to us. Our flock of chickens continued to grow, our pair of pet goats soon became a herd of dairy goats, my infatuation with Jersey cattle became

a realty, I grew tired of purchasing pork at the store......we evolved quickly! Though our

initial goal was to provide sustainable homegrown food for our close friends and family,

our homestead garnered interest from complete strangers seeking the same thing we

were. In 2022, we (finally, officially) created Cottonwood Ridge Farms LLC! We have

continued to expand and create opportunities for our homestead to not only support

itself but thrive. It is amazing how many like-minded folks we have met along the way,

trying to get back to their roots, back to the simple life, seeking education about their

food source and the livestock that power us all. We're excited to see you here!

Whether it be milk and eggs, starting your own livestock adventure, or inviting us to
